Lisbon Food & Wine Walk

This tour will introduce you to the Portuguese cuisine and its incredible mix of Mediterranean traditions and exotic influences from all corners of the World. Try the famous Portuguese Codfish Cake with a glass of refreshing Green Wine. Get to know the historical center, home to some of Lisbon’s most famous restaurants, Fado-houses, bars and nightclubs. Go up the hill, the local´s way, and admire the breathtaking views while you will pass some great hidden restaurants. Learn about Lisbon’s great Cafés and Portugal’s strong café-culture and have the chance to take a look at delicious and exotic products, from dried, salted Bacalhau to sausages, hams and cheeses. Learn the history of Portugal’s famous fortified wine, Port, and then try some with delicious cheese. Have the true local experience of sipping Ginginha and learn the meaning of “With or without?”. Indulge in the most beloved Lisbon snack, known all over the country as Bifana, while you learn how to ask for a draft beer in Portuguese. The guide can meet you at your Hotel if it is in the City Center and less then 10 minutes walking away from the Rossio Square.
Otherwise we meet at Praça Dom Pedro IV (Rossio) at 4:00 p.m.
