  • At Rossio’s Square, learn how Lisbon city was destroyed in the 18th century and later rebuilt into the current city. See the Obelisk in Restauradores’s Square, which commemorates the Restoration of Portugal’s independence in 1640, after sixty years of Spanish rule, and marvel at the ornate neo-Manueline architecture of Rossio’s Central Station. Learn more about the 1974 Carnation Revolution by visiting the beautiful Carmo’s Square, where Portugal’s former dictatorial regime fell after 48 years. Stroll through the elegant Chiado’s neighbourhood, with its old cafes, theatres and bookstores, stopping to taste the typical Portuguese pastel – the Pastel de Nata.

    Stroll through the old labyrinthine neighbourhood with small squares and narrow alleys, the Moorish quarter of Alfama, where time seems to have stopped a thousand years ago. Learn about Fado, the Portuguese musical genre recognized by UNESCO as an Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity. Enjoy a glass of wine, accompanied by a tasting of chorizo and sort of cheese, at a typical local bar. Pass by the Sé, Cathedral of Lisbon, the oldest church in the city, built in 1147. End your tour at Comércio’s Square, the old entrance to the city, one of the largest and most beautiful squares in Europe.

  • Starting down Avenida da Liberdade, towards Baixa Pombalina and the historic centre of the city, the first stop of this tour will be at an impressive place: the Cathedral of Lisbon. Continue to Miradouro da Graça (viewpoint), from where you have a superb view over Lisbon and Tagus River. Pass by the Monastery of S. Vicente, by Alfama – birthplace of Fado – and by the National Pantheon, ending at Comércio’s Square.

    Transportation towards Belém, one of the most monumental and historic areas of Lisbon, the place from which most Portuguese explorers embarked on their voyages. Pass by Jerónimos’s Monastery, Belém Tower and Padrão dos Descobrimentos, stopping to taste the delicious and famous Pastéis de Belém.

    Return to the city center, passing by Basílica da Estrela (church), the Parliament, Bairro Alto and Chiado. Stop at Baixa for a short walk through the most beautiful squares (Rossio, Figueira and Restauradores), where you will have the opportunity to closely observe some of the oldest commercial establishments in the city and taste the traditional vinho verde (green wine), the pastel de bacalhau (fried cod) and a delicious glass of Porto’s Wine, to finish.

  • Sintra is one of those magical places where man and nature meet in a perfect symbiosis, as if sending us into a state of permanent surprise. The tour starts at the mysterious Pena’s Park, with an incredible variety of plants and trees, where you can discover secret trails. Visit to the romantic Pena’s National Palace, a wonderful 19th century fairytale palace. At the top of the mountain, opportunity to enjoy the fantastic views over the Moorish castle.

    Free lunch break in the old Sintra village – we suggest you you to try the delicious Travesseiros and Queijadas. After lunch, travel through the natural landscapes of Sintra Natural Park and stop at the cliffs of Cabo da Roca, the westernmost point of Continental Europe.

    Stop at Guincho’s beach, continuing on a panoramic tour, along the Atlantic coast, to Cascais. Time to walk around the picturesque village of Cascais where, at the beginning of the 20th century, there were built the first summer houses. On the way back to Lisbon, travel along the coast, passing through the gardens of Estoril and its Casino.

  • Travel to Fátima, where you have the opportunity to learn about the experience of a pilgrim, while visiting the Sanctuary, one of the most important Christian pilgrimage sites in the world, with approximately 5 million visitors a year. Visit to the Chapel of Apparitions: the exact place where the Virgin Mary appeared to the 3 little shepherds, followed by a visit to the Basilica of Nossa Senhora do Rosário, where the tombs of the 3 little shepherds can be found: Francisco, Jacinta and Lúcia.

    Continue to Batalha and stop at the impressive 14th century Monastery, a UNESCO World Heritage Site since the 1980s. The journey continues towards Nazaré. Opportunity to photograph the superb views, from the top of the cliffs of this village, famous for its beaches and the strong and long fishing tradition, since its origin. Free time in the town center for lunch.

    Journey along the Atlantic coast to Óbidos village, a romantic and captivating village, founded over 2000 years ago, in which stand out its winding streets and medieval structures, the castle walls, the handicraft shops and some curious bookstores. Time to taste the traditional Ginja (sour cherry) liquor, served in a chocolate cup, before returning to Lisbon.
