  • We will start the tour by descending the Avenue of Liberdade heading to the center of the old city. We will stop at two impressive locations: Lisbon’s Cathedral (Sé), the oldest church in Lisbon and the viewpoint of Graça, where you will have the best view over the city and the river Tejo. Afterwards we will pass by the Monastery of S. Vicente,  Alfama, the birth place of Fado Music, the National Pantheon and Comércio Square, before taking the road heading towards Belém, one of Lisbon’s most monumental and historical areas. It was from Belém that most of the great Portuguese explorers embarked on their voyages of discoveries, so we will take you on a journey through the Monastery of Jerónimos, the Belém Tower and the Discoveries Monument, without forgetting the delicious and world famous traditional pastries: “Pastéis de Belem”. Heading back to the city center, we will pass by the Basílica of Estrela, the Parliament and Bairro Alto and Chiado districts before parking in Baixa (Downtown) district, where we’ll make a short walk through Lisbon’s most beautiful squares (Rossio, Figueira and Restauradores). You will also be stopping for a taste of green wine with a codfish cake and finishing with a glass of delicious Port Wine.

  • We start the tour crossing the 25th of April Bridge direction to Cristo Rei. Then we come back to north side of Rio Tejo, direction to Belém. You will visit the Monastery of Jerónimos (ticket included) and we will make small stops to see the Belém Tower and the Discoveries Monument, without forgetting to taste the delicious and world famous traditional pastry: the “Pastel de Belém”.

    Around lunch time you will have free time to explore the LX Factory, an historic industrial complex with several artistic shops of different concepts, restaurants and unique cafes, as well as the bookstore that was considered one of the 10 most beautiful in the world. After lunch will do a sightseeing around the city, until Parque das Nações. Here you will have some free time to enjoy an area that used to be an ugly industrial area, until it was chosen as the site to host the last world fair of the 20th century, Expo 98.

  • Why not explore Lisbon at the end of the day and finish with a typical dinner while hearing Fado music, the traditional Portuguese song? We will pick you up at your Hotel and then drive around the city, stopping in some of the best lookout points of Lisbon to see the capital in all its splendour: from above and, depending on the time of the year, see Lisbon under the sunset light. We will then open your appetite in the old Moorish quarter of Lisbon, while walking on the labyrinthic narrow streets of Alfama. The tour ends in a typical Fado Restaurant, where you can appreciate traditional Portuguese food and wine, while singing along with the fado singer and the sound of the Portuguese guitar amongst other traditional Portuguese dancing and singing.

In the afternoon we will head towards Palmela, where we’ll ascend its Castle Tower for an amazing photo opportunity. We will then drive along the mountains of the Arrabida wine region stopping at a beautiful local family owned wine farm in the heart of Arrábida Natural Park, where it is time to taste some wine. Afterwards you’ll have a great chance to take spectacular photos from the highest point of the Arrábida Natural Park (500m peak). Last, but not least, we will stop at Cristo Rei (inspired by Rio de Janeiro’s statue of Cristo Redentor) for great views over Lisbon and then return to the capital through the 25th April Bridge.

Free time for lunch in Belém. After lunch we head to Sintra, where you’ll have free time to explore its beautiful historical center and also to visit National Sintra Palace. Then we will drive through the natural wonders of Sintra Natural Park, passing by several impressive palaces until we stop at the Roca Cape cliffs – the westernmost point of Continental Europe. Next we will take you for a scenic drive along the Atlantic coast; we will stop at the Guincho Beach (a surfer’s paradise) and afterwards pass by Boca do Inferno (Hell’s mouth cliff). Finally, enjoy a leisurely walk along the bay at the glamorous town of Cascais. Drive along the coast to Lisbon passing by Estoril and the casino.

Free time to visit the Monastery of Jerónimos (ticket included) and after that we head straight to Sintra where we will have free time for lunch. We don’t head back to the city center and the tastings.

    Sintra leaves most visitors with a feeling of mystical enchantment. Its magical palaces, forests, Moorish castle and UNESCO World Heritage site city center are like a page from a fairy tale. On this tour you will have free time to explore the old Sintra town, with its imposing National Palace (ticket not included), with time to try the famous “Travesseiros” (pastry with almond cream) or simply walk through the town. We will then drive through the natural wonders of Sintra Natural Park for exciting views and palaces,heading to the top of the mountain to visit the Pena Palace. When we arrive at the entrance, you will have free time to explore the Pena Park and the Pena Palace, before meeting your guide and return back to Lisbon.

Time is flexible and you are free to attend a Mass and visit several souvenir shops.

    Be mesmorised by the landscape of rolling hills on the drive to Óbidos. What makes Óbidos one of Europe’s most romantic medieval villages is its incredibly picturesque cobblestone streets. It is lined with colorful houses filled with geraniums and bougainvillea, Gothic doorways and windows, whitewashed churches, flowerpots and dazzling tiles – all encircled by the walls of a 12th century castle.
